Daniela Rodriguez
Daniela is a sports journalist who resides in Houston and has been involved in two of the major sporting events worldwide, the London 2012 Olympic Games and the World Cup in South Africa 2010. She has worked for national and international outlets such as Telemundo, NBC Universo, NBC, ESPN and ESPN Deportes,.
Daniela´s most recent work is as comentator on the official Houston Dynamo Spanish Broadcast aired on Telexito, for the past two MLS seasons. Before that, she was an analyst in the Houston Texans Spanish TV Show, Primero y Diez aired on Telemundo. She was part of the show for four seasons. And is one of the journalists who started the show back in 2012.
She was the host and producer of Futbol sin Limites, on ESPN Deportes for 2 years, starting in 2014. It was a daily sports radio showfocused on Mexican soccer, that aired simultaneously in Houston, Dallas and San Francisco. Before FSL she hosted Café ESPN in Houston for three years.
During the 2014 Season, Daniela was the Field Reporter for the Official Houston Texans Spanish Broadcast.
Her career in the United States started in 2010 when she won the reality television show, Dream Job, on ESPN and became a reporter for ESPN Deportes for 40 days in South Africa covering the World Cup in 2010.
Rodriguez participated with Telemundo in the broadcast of the 2012 Olympic Games, as a TV commentator and analyst of three Olympic disciplines (beach volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics and synchronized swimming), as well as being the host of a TV show, Mun2 Olímpico Monday through Friday covering all the sports.
Daniela´s sports journalism career goes back to her time as spokesman and Communications Manager of Club America from 2008 to 2009, but her media work dates back since 2005 on television in Mexico.
