Gustavo Rangel
Gustavo Rangel is a seasoned Sports Journalist. Currently he is one of the voices of the MLS Houston Dynamo as well as one of the voices of the NFL Houston Texans. Gustavo Rangel is a graduate of Sam Houston High School, where he played soccer and ran cross country and track for the Tigers. He received a track scholarship to attend Texas Southern University and studied journalism while competing in cross country and track. He has been a staple in Houston-area media for the better part of the last three decades, hosting sports talk radio shows, serving as the play-by-play announcer for the Houston Dynamo for various years and writing for a variety of publications and websites. In addition to his role as the Houston Texans color analyst on Mega 101.1 FM, Rangel is a freelance writer for La Opinion and various other Spanish-language publications.
