Pedro Vela

Pedro Vela, is an experienced broadcaster having started his career in 2007 as producer and broadcaster for Radio Alegria 1240 AM station located in Bryan Texas.

In 2012 he made a mov to Houston Texas, working for Univision Radio, as a producer and game board operator of the Houston Astros and Houston Texans Spanish Radio broadcasts. 

In 2013 Vela joined the Houston Texans Spanish broadcast team as Side Line Reporter. Vela was also part of the team's weekly coaches show.

In 2014 Pedro launched the first ever Spanish Radio game broadcasts for Texas A&M Aggie Football on Learfield Sports. Vela has served as the Spanish Voice of the Texas A&M Aggies for the last six seasons. While on the mic at Texas A&M Vela has called six college bowl games including the 2014 Liberty Bowl, 2015 Music City Bowl, 2016 and 2019 Texas Bowls, the 2017 Belk Bowl and the 2018 Gator Bowl 2018.

In 2016 Vela joined ESPN Deportes Houston, as On Air Personality, Executive Producer and also retuned to the Houston Texans Spanish broadcasting team, as Side Line Reporter.
