Victor Araiza
Victor Araiza covers Houston Dynamo FC and Greater Houston for The Striker Texas.
Araiza began his career in 2011 with KYAZ 51 as a video editor on Houston Dynamo Spanish TV broadcasts and as an on-air reporter for the weekly "Marcador Azteca" program that aired on Texas Azteca affiliates. He has written about the Dynamo for ProstAmerika MLSsoccer.com, HoustonDynamo.com, SportsMap Houston and Deporte Total USA. Araiza has also worked in radio since 2016 as an assistant producer and digital content manager for "Soccer Matters with Glenn Davis" on KFNC 97.5 FM. In 2017, Araiza returned to TV production as a Statistician for Houston Dynamo local TV broadcasts in English and Spanish.
Araiza was born and raised in Houston and graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2014. Aside from soccer, he is a fan of the other major sports in the United States and professional wrestling. His music tastes range anywhere from Latin to Country music. He is the son of Mexican parents.
